Parish Church

The Gargunnock Parish Church, established since well before 1500, was founded by the Augustinian Monks of Cambuskenneth Abbey and is under the spiritual jurisdiction of the Bishop of St Andrews. These associations are commemorated in the carvings on the ends of the Elders’ benches.

From 20th June 2024, the congregation of Gargunnock Church has been part of the new charge of Gargunnock linked with Kippen and Norrieston Church linked with Port of Menteith as part of Perth Presbytery’s Plan for the Carse of Stirling.
