CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING WORKS IN THE C22 LECKIE RD CLOSURE GARGUNNOCK

Stirling Council intend to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing works on the C22 Leckie rd Gargunnock Between the speed restriction Main st and the square commencing on or shortly after Wednesday 9th September 2026.
These works consist mainly of resurfacing the existing carriageway, as per the attached plan. In order to safely execute these works a carriageway closure and parking restrictions will be in place during normal working hours (Wednesday day to Friday – 09:00am to 18:00pm) from Wednesday 9th at 09:00am until Friday 11th at 18:00pm. These works shall take place over a period of 3 days (excluding weekends and weather permitting). Where possible, some access may be available to properties at specific times that do not disrupt resurfacing operations, please ask the contractor onsite if required.
My apologies for any inconvenience, however I’m sure you will understand the necessity to have these repairs carried out at the earliest opportunity and we aim to manage this to an absolute minimum. The contractor onsite will be able to advise you at the end of each working day, if asked, to which point the works have progressed and please feel free to ask any questions, if required.

What is involved?
The existing Carriageway on Leckie Rd will be removed to a depth of 45mm. Reset any ironworks, reinstate with a 45mm surface course and renew the road markings.
