Local Development Plan – you’ll have read about this in the Bugle. There is a potential proposal for a development of 75 houses on Manse Brae. GCC held an Extraordinary meeting to discuss this on 23 June with a representative from Stirling Council and there’s a lot of detail in the Minutes available online on the Community Council page of the website.
The June Ordinary Meeting and 2026 AGM mins are also available via the same link. As is the Gargunnock Local Place Plan which outlines what we regard as acceptable, sustainable and appropriate development.
We will be engaging with the community and key stakeholders soon and then preparing a response to Stirling Council on behalf of the community. Watch for a survey from GCC in the next week or so to help inform our response.
We would encourage residents to explore the Stirling Council information on this on their website and suggest you consider completing the surveys related to the Spatial Strategy and Site Option.
